I have only seen 1 wild bunting so far and it was a Yellow-breasted.Choy Wai Munhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08481654049960954505noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6888150200000284242.post-49159418462677769472014-11-16T21:49:52.157+08:002014-11-16T21:49:52.157+08:00Stu, Two of them are "Second time ever" ...Stu, Two of them are "Second time ever" for me, so we must be about even !John Holmeshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15419454306292739431noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6888150200000284242.post-79805917067723806262014-11-16T21:48:12.787+08:002014-11-16T21:48:12.787+08:00For American Dowitchers, Hong Kong the other way r...For American Dowitchers, Hong Kong the other way round - regular but rare Long-billed, no records Short-billed. A lovely series of birds, none of which I've seen.

We've got a twitch here at the moment - a Dowitcher, with the jury being out on a long-billed female Short-billed, or a Long-billed. The latter would be a first for Australia, and the former only one of a few. It was seen for 2 days, disappeared for 2 and has re-appeared again today. Birders from interstate are driving overnight to try to see it!Sonjahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08940828763843098232noreply@blogger.com
